I did some dyeing this summer…

Here I have some group pictures of some dyeing I did this summer, with natural dyes:

About me

Fiber artist - knit, weave, and quilt. I am also getting back into garment sewing. I have started to dye my own yarn and I'm learning to spin.

    I love the colors.

Yum! Are you making your own dyes, too?

The third picture down, the very pale yellow, in the center of the picure (looks almost cream in the picture, but definitely is yellow in real life) is dyed with the top leaves and flowers of the Dyers Broom (Genista tinctoria) that I grow in my garden. The rest are store bought natural dyes.
